Toasted Muesli (Granola)

I was going through my recipes and came across this one…I haven’t made home made muesli in…forever!

The beauty of this recipe is it can be chock-a-block full of dried fruit and nuts and a little extra toasted, which is the way I like it! Of course if you like fewer nuts and dried fruit the recipe can be adjusted to your taste.

I prefer adding the dried fruit afterwards so it doesn’t burn…nothing worse than burnt bitter raisins!

Served with fresh fruit and yoghurt or milk, this makes a delicious, wholesome breakfast.

If you’re South African, you’ll love rusks, and this muesli can also be used in your favourite rusk recipe!
